Revitalization Initiative – $60,000 Grant

The Habitat for Humanity Neighborhood Revitalization Program got underway in 2015 with a $60,000 Byerly Foundation grant. Habitat partnered with the South Hartsville Revitalization Association and in the first year funded repairs for 17 homes.

The program has more than 50 ongoing applications and they have a waiting list of home owners hoping to get assistance with repairs to their homes. The impact of this first-year grant has spurred the expansion of the program with a two-year commitment totaling $100,000.
